1. Introduction

LumaiScope ("we", "our", or "the Service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our identity provider (Clerk). We do not store your password directly.

Usage Data: We track which features you use and how often, to enforce plan limits and improve the service. This includes feature names, timestamps, and usage counts.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details.

Product Research Data: Keywords you search, products you analyze, and listings you generate are stored in your account to provide history and analytics features.

Amazon Selling Partner Data: If you connect your Amazon Seller Central account, we access data through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) on your behalf. This may include product listings, pricing information, inventory levels, order data, sales and traffic analytics, FBA fee and fulfillment data, financial statements, and Brand Analytics reports. We only access the data necessary to provide the features of our Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process your subscription payments
  • Enforce usage limits based on your plan
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, payment confirmations)
  • Improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns
  • Respond to support requests

Amazon Selling Partner Data: We use data obtained through the Amazon SP-API solely to provide you with product research, analytics, and reporting features within the Service. Specifically, we use this data to:

  • Produce exportable reports (Excel and PDF)

We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise distribute your Amazon Selling Partner data to any third party. We do not use your Amazon data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service to you.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

We do not share your Amazon Selling Partner data with any third-party services listed above except as strictly necessary to provide AI-powered analysis features (Anthropic Claude). When Amazon data is sent to Anthropic for analysis, it is processed in real time and is not retained by Anthropic for model training or any other purpose.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and usage history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

Amazon Selling Partner Data: Data obtained through the Amazon SP-API is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service to you. If you disconnect your Amazon Seller Central account or delete your LumaiScope account, we will delete all associated Amazon Selling Partner data within 30 days. You may also request immediate deletion of your Amazon data at any time by contacting us.

If Amazon revokes our access to the SP-API or requests deletion of your data, we will comply within the timeframe required by Amazon's policies.
