Connect your Amazon Seller account

Link your Amazon Seller Central account so LumaiScope can pull your own P&L, PPC, inventory, and reimbursement data. Optional, but it unlocks the Performance tools.

Why connect your account

Most of LumaiScope works on public data, so you can validate products and research keywords without connecting anything. But to see your own numbers — real P&L, Amazon PPC spend, inventory levels, and reimbursement opportunities — LumaiScope needs read access to your Seller Central data.

We connect through the official Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) using OAuth, the same way Amazon intends third-party tools to integrate. You authorise the connection on Amazon's side; we never ask for your Seller Central password.

Before you start

  • You'll need an active Amazon Seller Central account (Professional selling plan).
  • You should be signed in to Seller Central as the account owner or an admin who can authorise third-party applications.
  • Know which marketplace(s) you sell in — you'll confirm the region during the connect flow.

Connect your account

  1. Go to Settings and open the integrations or connections area.
  2. Click Connect Amazon Seller account.
  3. You'll be redirected to Amazon to sign in and review the permissions LumaiScope is requesting.
  4. Approve the authorisation. Amazon sends you back to LumaiScope and the connection is established.
  5. Give it a few minutes for the first data sync. Performance tools will start populating once your account data has been pulled in.
Authorisation is read-only and scoped to research and reporting. LumaiScope does not place orders, change your prices, or modify your listings on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time — from Settings here, or from the Manage Your Apps page in Seller Central.

If the connection doesn't work

  • Make sure you're authorising from the account that owns the Seller Central profile, not a sub-user without app-authorisation rights.
  • Confirm you selected the correct marketplace region during the flow.
  • Data won't appear instantly — the first sync can take a little time before Performance reports fill in.
  • If you connected and later changed your Amazon password or permissions, you may need to reconnect.
